Garden Stuff
@gardenstuff.bsky.social
Just a garden club for anyone who likes to grow stuff. Indoor or outdoor plants, beginners to improvers. Bring a cuppa and we can chat, we’ll sit in the potting shed if it rains.
Then a 50/50 mix of peat free and out home made compost. I added bulbs under the violas to give a longer span of interest.

Some of the dried garlands are quite pricey to buy. #gardenstuff

I garden primarily for the wildlife, so I don't mind hungry munching marks. I think this leaf is rather picturesque.

Ivy flowers late in the season and what a rich resource for pollinators it is. You can see the first bee has it's pockets full of pollen. A ladybird snoozing on a leaf making the most of some bright Sunday sunshine #garden

My second post is an old friend, this tree is visible from every front window of the house. I see it any morning as I pull the curtains. It's a barometer of each season it's been there as long as I've been in the house. Photo this morning from the front gate. It is just starting to change.

My changing season photographs are autumnal both taken this morning in the garden first is a shrub with a lovely crop of berries, I can't recall it's name but it has a nice white blossom early Spring. It needs a good trim but the berries and the birds....

What a lovely sight I bet the pollinators love that spot in your garden. I did a Google search and have attached the info. Also suggested was using them in flower arrangements. Also the hollow stems give insects somewhere to overwinter (also google). Thank you for sharing. #gardenstuff

Last picture for today these are in the kitchen. The baby Christmas cactus, a Dragon Aloe and a succulent that had lost its label and was sadly in the reduced basket of a supermarket, it's doing well now. I would love to see your pics indoor or outdoor #gardenstuff

I'm very keen on indoor gardening. Check out this plant it's pretty easy but I think it looks great it's a trailing tradescantia (?Zebrina). Anyhoo you can break a bit off and poke it the soil and it takes. It produces tiny pink flowers. Really undemanding. #gardenstuff
