The immigration "crackdown" isn't helping. However, a lot of these rising cost issues are due to corporations buying up "mom and pop" home health agencies. We used to have thousands of these companies across America. We're getting down into the "dozens". Less competition is driving up costs.
A crisis is exploding across America as the cost of in-home care for older adults is skyrocketing -- up 10% just this year!! That's more than three times the rate of inflation.

So far this year, the price of in-home care for the elderly, disabled or convalescent at home is up 10%.

Everything that Trump and the GQP do is not about pro life but pro death. Just being against abortion does not make you pro life. You must also be anti-war, anti death sentences, be anti reciprocal violence, be pro food and health care, and have housing for all.
Being pro wealth is pro death.

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.

In Matthew 25 Jesus stated his test for who was and was not a Christian. And this was not to unbelievers but to those who professed to be Christians and had did what they thought was required to be a Christian. But he stated that it was their actions that mattered.
