Yes, they are super tough to use! Not sure why they are so popular. But you got them in. That’s all that matters 💪🏻😃

I’ve tried all sorts of things over the years and landed on using a spade for larger bulbs (with enough space to dig) and a hori hori knife for smaller bulbs or tight spaces. It works well for me and less work than using those bulb planters that create a single hole. Never tried a drill!

Yay!! Leucojums have much bigger bulbs than one would think. At least I always imagine them as tiny as snowdrops bulbs.
