I started looking into HDR in Outer Worlds 2. Xbox is just Auto HDR , PC has "proper" HDR but it's a little but buggy. I don't think I have time to finish my video today but hopefully Sunday night.

Sorry, but it’s just not worth putting time and effort into HDR review videos. It’s not just Ninja Gaiden 4 — Ghost of Yotei is also performing really poorly. Not sure what I am going to do in the future but I have to think about it.

Instead of sleeping I spent several hours to test HDR in Ninja Gaiden 4 and made a short video. Currently uploading and I am not sure yet if I should wait until YouTube finished the HDR processing which can take a long , looong time.

UPDATE to Ninja Gaiden 4
HDR Is Broken In Ninja Gaiden 4 On The Xbox. Max Peak Brightness is ~200nits which is SDR. PC Version is fine.

disappointing. Just 1000nits max Peak and a constant Black Level Raise. Not planning to make a video.

HDR in Control on the PS5 is not good. Always lifted blacks and so far I could not find anything brighter than 300 to 400 nits. I keep testing.

My Ghost of Yotei HDR Review is finished and I am uploading it to YouTube right now. I will wait until HDR processing has been finished which can take, unfortunately, sometimes a long time.

My HDR review to Ghost of Yotei is delayed and I am not sure when I can start working on it. I have done my testing but no recording of me talking or any editing was done. I just have no time right now and I am very frustrated because of that!

I am testing the RenoDX Fix for Dying Light The Beast. I still need to learn a lot because this game is far from having the best HDR....1st Vanilla HDR , 2nd RenoDX. Keep in mind those are just SDR images. Therefore it clips a lot in the Vanilla HDR image.

I am done with testing HDR in DL The Beast and I am editing my video now. WHAT A FANTASTIC HDR THIS GAME HAS!!! Video is coming hopefully soon but I will also wait until YouTube has finished the HDR Processing.

HDR vs SDR in Silent Hill f. The color grading is terrible wrong in HDR. That's not how HDR should look like compared to SDR. Yes, with HDR enabled we are getting brighter highlights but the rest is just bad. Video is coming tomorrow or Friday.

I am looking into the new Patch for KCD 2. They added native HDR into the game. Let's see how good it is. I just have the PC version but as always, HDR should be very much the same on the consoles. Expect the video Sunday 14/9 8pm ACST .

No HDR in SILKSONG is a BIG L. Games like Ori and the Will of the Wisp or No Rest for the Wicked showing how important HDR is in games.

HDR Settings in GOW Reloaded are "broken" in the terms that they are not doing what they are supposed to do. I am looking into it and I will do a video and the plan is the release it latest Sunday 8pm ACST. I hope you can wait that long. Thanks!!

Working on A Big HDR Update Video for Cyberpunk 2077. I literally just started testing and I hope to see some changes in HDR but honestly I don't think so. I am testing Xbox and PS5 Version right now...not sure if I include PC in the first video as well...What do you think?
