Safari Balls are already obtainable in SwSh Crown Tundra and SV Indigo Disk, and soon as ZA ranked rewards.
I was referring to the Pokemon GO event where the game gives you limited time Safari Balls with highly improved catch rates. As of now Pokemon caught in them can't be sent to Home.
