Horse studies for my webcomic. I am thinking of collating all my sketches into a digital zine.

One thing you will never think after reading a great book or listening to a great album or seeing a great piece of art is, “I’m really glad this person remained cautious while they were making this and guarded against being perceived as weird.”

to be blunt: i think the question is a bit of shutting the barn door behind the horse and has already been answered en mass by new readers.

they've already migrated to formats, genres, and price points that work for them. webtoons, manga (esp reading via app on phones), etc.
I've been thinking a lot about what publishers need to do to genuinely build new readership... I don't think the classic collector market strategies work. What do you think we need to do to make buying comics viable for new readers?

How do we get folks (16-35) acclimated to reading more comics??

I was asked today by a younger artist on how is it that I'm able to draw everyday without getting into a slump or art block and I was able to break it down into some bullet points. (Thread)
