Anyways, the logic of gender segregation mirrors the sexuality segregation and racial segregation of the past. Some of the excuses for not wanting trans people in your bathrooms are the same excuses that were used to segregate black or gay people in the past, too. Bigotry is cyclical.

Also, to play devil’s advocate;
there is no ethical way to enforce sex-based bathrooms even if you wanted to. Even invasive and creepy ‘genital inspection’ type stuff may not work because of post-op trans people and also some intersex people.

And on another note, why do you care so much if a woman in an adjacent stall has a dick? You aren’t looking at it and won’t be seeing it unless you’re a perv who is intentionally trying to peek in at them.

Even people in the trans community have differing opinions because, surprise, we aren’t a monolith! Not all of us agree on everything. For me personally, I think sexless bathrooms WOULD be safer if bathrooms overall had floor-to-ceiling stalls instead of having gaps—
