The article describe the concept of * #negative #relational #labor *: producing social relation through practices such as #reducing interactions or #concealing information online. ‘Negative’ is borrowed from photographic image, whose negative allows it to stand out through empty spaces. 🌚🌝

#Academic work is great, but usually takes an incredibly long time for just about everything. This is sometimes not only frustrating but also penalizing - especially if still looking for #job stability like me. 🥴 That's why I'm happy about this publication, which has grown with me over the years 🫶

🎊 Finally, after more months (and rounds of review) the publication is out! I would like to sincerely thank the #editors for their trust, and the two anonymous #reviewers who appreciated my work and helped me to significantly improve the final output of the article.

❤️‍🩹 Then, the first #rejection from a major journal arrived several months after the first #submission. Although I was disappointed at the time, I am grateful to the anonymous reviewers for their feedback, which helped me to restructure the text in a more robust way.
