I've been calling it Twitter because it amuses me to call Elon's product by a name he no longer wants it called, given his stance on trans folks and deadnames.

That said I deleted my account years ago, so *shrug*

They lose points for not committing to the bit and going back to tell that story. Cool episode but completely unnecessary to the arc of the show. Would watch an Alien universe viniette show though, with standalone episodes like that

The Locked Tomb is a series I like. So, my Dark Angels are the Keepers of the Tomb. What's in the tomb? Secret! Reclusive, but when a threat is identified, they act.

Burton is older, but very dependable. Not the flashy type, prone to reflection and insight. He is skilled at getting the job done.

Finally, the Wrecker catches the unlucky in its claws and crushes! (and maybe munches, take a look at that mouth!)

A dark shape looms ahead and seems to get...bigger? The Venomspitter can spray its victims even more with a bit of preparation as it distends the dorsal sac!

Just received it from my preorder, flipped to a random page, and was immediately delighted by a comic I hadn't seen before (cardinal mindfulness).

Thank you for creating wonderful art and sharing it!

If the cost and effect were more transparently linked, many WOULD vote for higher taxes - and already DO, especially at the local level for items like education funding.

A vote for "raise taxes by X to accomplish Y", *with the rich payig their share*, people would debate etc, but generally support

I don't think "fairness" is the reason to raise taxes on the rich, but it is an easy conversational crutch.

I think that in the US, the lack of social safety nets cause people to fear their financial security - leading them to oppose more taxes because they don't see the return for their wellbeing.

I don't think people who say "tax the rich" want to avoid being taxed. Speaking for myself, funding the community I am a part of is a patriotic thing to do - I want those who benefit immensely from America's systems to pay back into it massively, to help those less fortunate.

You have to post it not on Bsky sadly. Hopefully they increase the resolution limit someday. Maybe a shared google drive link?

Wow this is great! I like the touches you gave each House!

Which is why experts exist, and why we should listen to them.

I speak as someone uncomfortable with a LOT of what the USA's military does, but I've come to understand that a solution exists out there that is not bloated in cost, effective to do what is required, and is used sparingly

Digging into something you don't like and figuring out how to accomplish it successfully takes years, decades even. I think many people resort to dismissal or condemnation of a thing rather than accept the possibility that there *is* a successful solution, it just may not be them to figure it out.
