Funny how when a real scientist responds to an ideologue about their dated beliefs the cracks start to show re: #LongCOVID. Initially I was annoyed that Nature even legitimized such a weak response from Garner et al, but now all the world can see that the emperor has no clothes.

Schade, dass es offenbar eine Pandemie brauchte, um mehr Interesse an der seit 1969 von der WHO codierten - und auch schon davor massiv beeinträchtigenden - Erkrankung #MECFS zu generieren.

Spezialisierte Behandlungseinrichtungen, mehr Forschung, Verbesserungen bei Begutachtung und Absicherung: 50 Empfehlungen enthält der Aktionsplan zu postakuten Infektionssyndromen, den ich mit Elisabeth Kanitz (Gesundheit Österreich) und Eva Untersmayr-Eisenhuber (MedUni Wien) präsentiert habe.

Ab sofort gibt es hier von mir allgemeine medizinische Informationen, mit speziellem Fokus auf die Lungengesundheit.
