I feel like Lost Odyssey used the concept at its best with the written stories. Definitely thought about the game too while watching Frieren, and a lot of little situations in Frieren reminded me of those moments with the "A sign of hope" theme playing!

Lots of people will hate on me for this but one time I ordered a huge poutine while I was drunk and couldn't finish it so I put it in the fridge and ate it as leftovers for breakfast the next day after reheating it in the oven.
