Never let anyone tell you pro wrestling isn't cool. If you're unsure, watch this and get roped in, even without context you feel the aura.

Pro wrestling is a weird world, filled with creativity and athleticism. It's never been easier to find a company that you like and just start watching!

Suikoden V to me is the best iteration of the Suikoden series. It came out at the end of the lifespan of the PS2 and after a poorly received IV.

Best iteration of the Runes system, best overall cast, good political plot, IMO best take on a silent protagonist. One of the best RPGs ever made.

Double dipping in the latest Shiren game, here we go again. I strongly suggest playing this if you haven't, extremely well designed roguelike with tons of dungeons to explore, crazy weapons&items to figure out how to use and enemies to kill you when you feel the run is going perfectly.

This made a huge impact because it was a game with a substantial story that finally allowed us to follow along!

Discovering all sorts of games, especially story-driven ones, was a big challenge for us. And for a long time, ALTTP was a very rare breed on console.

I still have my old map!

Growing up in Québec, we had "American" version of console games. Language options were scarce until the 6th gen. Back then, we started learning English pretty late in school, so it was a language barrier.

One of the few console games we got in French for a long while was Zelda A Link to the Past.

428 Shibuya Scramble (PS4/PC)

Games that use photography as one of the main methods of storytelling are pretty rare. And oh boy does 428 Shibuya Scramble pull that off well. It's a clever visual novel, filled to the brim with story, twists, turns, amazing characters, and a great soundtrack.

Mission: Impossible (N64/PS1)

Mission: Impossible was a game filled with great concepts and immersive missions. One of the most forward thinking games. Mission:Impossible is an unsung hero of that era, and I know for a fact it has inspired a surprising number of designers.

Eternal Darkness

Games are a great medium for horror because of interaction. In my eyes, no game represents this better than Eternal Darkness. It plays mind tricks on you, the player, while also making life miserable for its characters.

An absolute masterpiece that deserves more recognition.

Lorelei and the Laser Eyes

This game really represents just how deep you can get in designing puzzles without making them overly complex. Lorelei plays with a few concepts and expects you will take notes. It also takes such an impressive approach to storytelling.

Chrono Cross.

One of the most inventive JRPGs ever created. It dared to go in a completely different direction to Chrono Trigger by introducing a brand new combat & magic system. To this day, I feel like the Elements + Fields mechanic is under-appreciated.

Always enjoy seeing others do things like this, so I thought I'd do the same!

Started playing Tex Murphy: Under a Killing Moon this morning, and I just witnessed the best scene of all time.

FMV games really hit different, a lot of these games have absolutely gripping narrative and great puzzles, while at the same time allowing themselves a lot of fun.

Our game Deceive Inc. is officially 1 year old and I couldn't be prouder of what we accomplished.

We created a unique and fresh game in an extremely competitive space, and it's constantly evolving, getting better.

Thank you so much to everyone who has played and continues playing!

Finished Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury yesterday.

It was an amazing show all throughout and 100% sticks the landing. Not only is it a great anime but I also thought it's great sci-fi in itself. Creates good parallels with our own world, while asking important questions.

Been watching the anime Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury these past few weeks and I must say I'm really impressed by the show overall. Suletta is an amazing protagonist, animation is really good and it's really engaging.

Hard recommend if you're looking for a show to watch!

Been playing the latest Shiren the Wanderer game these past few days.

It's a roguelike RPG where you go through randomly generated dungeons where you hunt for treasures, monsters, all sorts of good stuff.

It has a big emphasis on clever use of items and rewards thinking outside the box.

My NaNoWriMo 2023 is going pretty well! I had a slow start but caught up with it this weekend, bringing me back on par pretty much.

1663 words to write today, a tiny bit less than the regular 1667!
