DOGE claims it will take only a few months to replace legacy systems at the Social Security Administration. Having worked on similar modernization efforts before, we can tell you that isn’t true—here’s why.
You’ll see many posts like mine expressing just how wonderful the folks at 18F are. They did truly exemplify the *gold standard* in civic technologists. I worked alongside them in a couple past projects and I dreamed of working there one day. A sad day for civic tech and this country 18f.org
