Trump crypto partner Alt5 Sigma told the SEC its auditor quit in Nov.

We called the auditor.

He resigned in August.

That's the second SEC filing with an apparent conflict that Alt5 Sigma has made in recent weeks.

Again, progressives were ahead, by quite a bit, of conservatives, many who held more power and influence in the system. Some even commented on these far out ideas when offered over a decade ago, with a sneer or a smirk. I am not attributing this to any particular Bulwark staff AT ALL.
"I have always been historically opposed to messing with the court. In the last few years, I have totally come around on that."

Gross yes and legal yes. In an Orwellian take, many states allow recording of conversations if 1 party knows about the recording. Duh...(I think I have this correct).

There aren't as many kids either...immigration restrictions don't help. Community colleges that cater to adults fill in #'s.
Community college enrollment has been declining since 2009/10. The optimal policy response to this depends on the root of this decline.

I'm thrilled @nber.org today released my working paper with Harvard PhD Joe Winkelmann titled:

i'm also thinking about how the vision of the president as articulated by unitary executive theorists — a singular, vigorous individual — is belied by the simple observation that the presidency is an institution of many moving parts, with various people exercising power on behalf of the president

A GOP nightmare, women quit their corporate jobs to work in a family business AND NOW many are reconsidering because the GOP screwed around with healthcare subsidies (which at some point shouldn't be called that any longer). The GOP's plan to totally remake the country is running afoul of itself.

We have an issue, which is anything we do, since we do a lot of contracts with governments here and around the world, we have to be very careful how anything is perceived, and also how the next DOJ is going to deal with it.

Thank you so much for this !
"Never spread the lie in the headline" should be a hard rule of 21st century journalism.

Research shows that repeating lies helps to spread them, and people read headlines more than they read stories.
News media has to do better with headlines that present false and unverified public health claims.

Actually, I would put money on the outcome being that the insurance company accepts the diagnoses as correct but rejects coverage on the grounds that he's untreatable.
The DSM codes are 301.81 and 301.7. Sometimes, treating professionals spend hours arguing with insurance companies that the patient’s symptoms warrant treatment. Given his long-standing history and significant symptomatology, getting his treatment covered by insurance would be a slam dunk.

At this point he is begging to be impeached. Really...he wants someone to stop him. The House, this is your job. He is blowing up boats for trafficking drugs to America (even though this isn't even true) while he is pardoning someone who trafficked drugs to America.
WHOA. Trump says he will pardon Juan Orlando Hernandez, who once said that he wanted to “shove the drugs right up the noses of the gringos.” He had people killed as part of his narco-trafficking ring, which he at times operated directly out of his presidential office.
