Why would that even be praise worthy. They accomplished nothing at all and they’re proud they accomplished nothing while leaving the government shutdown go longer. Gets rid of the empathy excuses they were trying to force feed us.

We should consider any Democrat that doesn’t advocate for stripping committee positions and call for resignation of Schumer and Durbin complicit. If 40 Dems who voted no don’t forcibly seize leadership they should be considered as if they voted Yes.

Centrist Dems have never missed an opportunity to miss an opportunity
November 10, 2025 at 9:50 PM
You’re why the Democratic Party sucks. You expect nothing and get nothing. Every single Democrat we have in the Senate should be clawing for leadership. It should be disqualifying for any Senator to be unwilling to lead. As for who should take the mantle. Maybe one of the ones that’s been vociferous
November 10, 2025 at 9:44 PM
We want you to also challenge the exceptionally unpopular leadership of the Democratic Party but we know you won’t which is why you will also wind up growingly exceptionally unpopular
November 10, 2025 at 9:41 PM
They also did it to AOC when she primaried Joe Crowley. Meanwhile they always demand fealty when they win primaries with the worst corporate shills on the planet.
November 10, 2025 at 7:13 PM
No at some point you have to start recognizing that th marginal victories that Dems eke out against disastrously dumb Trump are also losses. Your constantly grumbling to ask nothing of Dems is why they suck and many won’t vote for them. You’re the problem. You’re a loser. You caused Trump. Fascist.
November 10, 2025 at 7:11 PM
They’re throwing away the leverage of not giving their votes away to legislation they haven’t contributed anything toward. Now Republicans get to call their funding bills bipartisan. Dems also now eat responsibility for a 5 weeks shutdown that the public blamed on Republicans.
November 10, 2025 at 7:09 PM
Look how quickly the agglomerated behind Cuomo against Mamdani. Mamdani didn’t get 51% against an independent. He got 51% against the mono party.
November 10, 2025 at 7:04 PM
Call for Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries and the Whips that can’t seemingly Whip (or in Durbin’s case) to resign their leadership posts. We all know your favs CIA torturer @slotkin.senate.gov and @ossoff.senate.gov tagged out for soon-to-be-retired senators
November 10, 2025 at 6:37 PM
At a certain point you can’t keep blunting the blow for idiot voters. I know that you’re not a sincere person, because how can a sincere person seriously defend this betrayal? No you’re clearly a stooge for corporatists and toe the party line no matter what.
November 10, 2025 at 6:33 PM
Minority is not obligated to vote for things the majority party wants. If Republicans are in the majority then democrats shouldn’t give them kiddie wheels for government. If they want a budget with no democratic involvement let them pass it with their majority.
November 10, 2025 at 6:32 PM
Hey dipshit. Rightwing idiot democrats like your ugly ass took ownership of the shutdown by giving republicans the votes they needed to end it while getting nothing in return. The end.
November 10, 2025 at 6:30 PM
Republicans lost nothing in this exchange. The Dems will take the blame instead. It’s simple. Dems should either get what they want legislatively or the republicans can go fuck themselves and use their majority. Votes on bills cannot be expected to be had for free.
November 10, 2025 at 6:23 PM
Worse they’ve conceded that they really did cause chaos and suffering for 5 weeks. There’s essentially no difference between voting for it then and voting for it now except now there’s been 5 weeks of suffering.
November 10, 2025 at 6:23 PM
Democrats consistently provide padding for Republicans bad governance. For example Democrats have nothing to do with the Budget. They couldn’t even get one line item. Why would they vote for it? Now it’s bipartisan.
November 10, 2025 at 6:23 PM
Not until he assures us that he didn’t help plan the exact number needed for this treachery by calling for Schumer’s resignation from leadership along with Schumer’s leadership team including Senate Minority Whip Dick Durbin. If the whip himself is voting for this it’s a deeper issue.
November 10, 2025 at 6:16 PM
Until he publicly rallies for Schumer’s departure we must assume he was.
November 10, 2025 at 6:13 PM
We will all assume you were complicit on the meetings for who should take the fall for this until and unless you call for Schumer’s immediate resignation from Leadership and ice him out of caucus meeting until he does. This is unforgivably feckless given the resounding mandate less than 1 week ago.
November 10, 2025 at 6:12 PM
Neera is scum and I guess you are too if you made this whole post just to complain that somebody’s husband doesn’t like her.
November 10, 2025 at 6:03 PM
… doesn’t support removing Schumer from leadership promptly, then I have no choice but to assume they are complicit and participated in planning this act of betrayal. We should primary and remove any democrat that doesn’t call for Chuck Schumers removal from leadership.
November 10, 2025 at 6:00 PM
Not just these. Remember the original list had younger senators like @slotkin.senate.gov and @ossoff.senate.gov which means in their closed room dealing these idiots like octogenarian @durbin.senate.gov decided to take the fall. If Slotkin, Ossoff, or any other Dem
November 10, 2025 at 6:00 PM
That’s fine and Dems should let Republicans eat the consequences of bad governance and cruelty instead of constantly capitulating in order to blunt the blow so that the most selfish and low-information segments of the population never learn a god damn motherfucking thing.
November 10, 2025 at 5:38 PM
Shouldn’t it be illegal to challenge a Supreme Court ruling? Seems like the current court is just fishing for ways to undermine recent precedent
November 10, 2025 at 5:34 PM
Y’all literally just smarmplain about being expected to hold basic standards like “don’t support genocide” and “don’t ethnically cleanse Hispanics” and “don’t force the brain dead corpses of women to give birth against their families’ wishes”.
