This remains imho the wrong strategy. Reform voters will always push for more. And Farage is justified when he keeps putting immigration at the centre of his campaign.
Labour needs to attack Farage where he is weak, instead of following his narratives.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer is preparing tougher measures on immigration to stem a record flow of arrivals across the English Channel and stave off the threat posed by Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party after it made sweeping gains in this week’s local elections.

Historians will shrug at this headline because it’s obviously true (one might argue ‘Imperial’ a slightly better label, I suppose?)

Presumably The Telegraph expects its readers to be outraged at this language? I’m not sure why

I spoke in Parliament today about the fact that AI lies. It's a basic fact of machine learning tools that seems to pass many people by, because there's little to no education about what they are, and are not.
Someone on Threads noticed you can type any random sentence into Google, then add “meaning” afterwards, and you’ll get an AI explanation of a famous idiom or phrase you just made up. Here is mine

My husband has taught human reproduction and development to the Cambridge medics for over three decades. When people start banging on about "only two biological sexes" he starts with "which sex: genetic, hormonal, or gonadal"?

Biological sex is not binary. www.scientificamerican.com/article/sex-...

What everyone seems to be letting the Trump propaganda machine get away with is that it DOES. NOT. MATTER if he was a nice guy or not. The point is he was legally allowed to be here, was grabbed by mistake and deported sans due process as part of a vast illegal rendition scheme. That’s what matters.
Leavitt describes Abrego Garcia as "hiding in Maryland" and says, "based on the sensationalism of many of the people in this room, you would think we deported a candidate for father of the year"
