since learning that 'terminally unique' is a term used in AA/NA, it's all I've been thinking about. if she does struggle with substance use (as her lyrics make it seem) and she uses substances in the creative process (white wine & weed in the studio), of course she'd feel like she can't get sober

Hot take but based on opinions of everyone who’s interacted with her, I also believe Taylor is a genuinely kind person.
All the name-calling, mentions of addiction, etc. in her music. I don’t think she’s using it to reference other people. She may be self-loathing, but I don’t think she’s spiteful🤷♀️
