My older two were trying to open a combination lock for fun when my 4yo shouts “I CAN DO IT!” like Frodo at the council of the Ring. A hush falls over the room as they hand it over. My 4yo looks confidently down at the lock and then up at his brothers.

6% of the Trump/Epstein files released is a fucking joke. If I gave you 6% of the letters in a book, you’d have no idea what the book was about. Worse: I could easily pick the letters—even keeping them in relative order—to make the book appear to say whatever I wanted.

At a pre-school costume parade, and said “oh hey, Sonic!” to a kid that was dressed up as him. This 4yo gave me a wild-eyed DEATH STARE like I’d just blown his cover deep in enemy territory. I don’t think it’d ever occurred to him that an adult might know who Sonic is.
