there are very few areas in which US education is improving as of late and it's worth noting the ones that are improving are the ones people are socially and financially incentivized to learn now. Tech literacy being up seems relevant here when reading is down and science is down.

It'll be less than that in reality, since some of that farm worker count is going to small and midsize farms, but unless I messed up math it should be a very rough estimate.

so, "corporate farming" is just really rich individual families getting richer. Nonfamily, publicly traded or cooperatively owned farms are a tiny sliver of US farming (4%).
