Dont think he can. Under British law you have to file within a year for defamation cases and he is outside that limit.

Ridiculous isnt it. I cant think of 3 reasons why he is doing this:
1) distraction from Epstein files
2) to try and grab some cash
3) to undermine the BBC because he sees them as an enemy who might affect how people see him in the UK, and wherever the BBC operates. He cant control them directly.

Here is a snippet. While its true that there are Irish links to the area I dont see why that would be a good enough reason. We have many Indians and arabs too but I doubt their flags would be welcome.

I live in England and they put some Irish republic flags up too. What would they say if I did that in their country? I doubt they would see it as a 'show of solidarity' having English flags on their lamp posts.

I live in England and they had put up Irish republic, Welsh and Scottish flags too. Imagine if I went to those places and put English flags up. I'd probably get a beating

TBH there have always been places that are rough as hell where people just wont go into unless essential, usually run down poor areas. Its just no shock that such people want to blame outsiders for their shit lives rather than changing their own, so getting on board with this flag nonsense appeals
