I'm only familiar with Australian planning systems, but the current movement here is more heavily restricting objection rights to people living in closer proximity. Combine that with a wordcount limit and you have a bit of a cap on hyperobjection.

Isn't the obvious (but sad) solution here to legislate that a decision maker is deemed to have considered objections if they have read a one-page LLM summary of all written objections? Dead Internet Theory but for the planning system.
