Lots of bog feasibility studies conclude this Spring, hopefully 2025 will be a good year for rail development!

Car dependency: sold as freedom but enforced by sprawl, danger, and crushing costs.

Belfast, and Northern Ireland, needs better public transport connections.

Rail can reduce traffic congestion significantly, but we need to build for such a future NOW!

For well over a year, #FundTheNINE has routinely touted the desperate need for motorway sliproads into #Belfast City Centre to be closed permanently.

Now, someone's child, sibling, friend and co-worker has been killed as a result of this absolutely appalling planning.

By 2030, will #Belfast have made the same significant strides?

Probably not, but unless we push for positive change, the Department for Infrastructure will continue to prioritise the motorcar.
