We went to Dolores for dinner, where I had the best mole of my life. I'm a big fan of moles, and have been obsessed with trying to find good Oaxacan mole negro. It's difficult in New England. This was unbelievable, and we had tlacoyo too. The enmoladas (enchiladas in mole poblano) were also stellar

Last night we went to the East End for drinks, and it was*fantastic*. Highly recommended if you're a fan of innovative craft cocktails. My favorite was a cachaça drink with arugula, celery shrub, and green chilis. I also had a tequila drink with prickly pear and sweet pea reduction. 🤤

In Providence for a wedding, and I forgot how much I love this city. I don't come here often any more, but for a while it was a regular haunt for me. India Point Park is just lovely, they recently have done some renovations.

I had hamburger that needed to get cooked so, lunch! 😂 Sauteed beef with scallions, garlic, ginger, aleppo, egg noodles. Sauced w/ tamari soy, dark soy, chiangking vinegar, shaoxing wine, fish sauce, sriracha. Plated with ginger carrots, cilantro, fried shallots, peanuts, chili crisp.

It's weird working on 🫰 after working on tft for so long. Don't get me wrong, I love it. But I remember the og design spec for this feature I wrote up, what, 2 years ago? It just went live this month. Wish I got to join my colleagues getting it over the finish line but still happy to see it live.

Got to meet Patrick, the guy making MechDeck. Kind of like King of Tokyo had a baby with Battletech. You actually drafted & built those robots, the pieces are magnetic. Super fun!
