Doing some personal mayoral candidate research and I have a strong suspicion Jazz Hampton's Vision page on their website is AI/ChatGPT generated. HEAVY use of the em dash, consistently 3-4 bullet points for each platform, fairly generic goals. Thoughts?

I so utterly devasted by the Annunciation tragedy. I just can't believe it. My kid's have a lot of overlap with those kids in our baseball league. The wound through the community is so large. I can only think about the 19 families in the neighborhood that are no longer whole.

In our n'hood, lawn signs for the school your kid(s) attend are very popular. Am I wrong in assuming that this trend was started in a bid by public schools to boost the visibility to neighbors of the "acceptability" of the schools? As in, look at all your neighbors that trust the community school!

Dangerous Man THC drinks (which are fantastic and top-tier) are still available in stores all these months later post-closure. Are these all just left-overs from before they closed? Might explain why they closed, if so. Seems like a lot of product to still be stocked in stores 6 months later!

Every jar I've had from Mrs. Renfros has been bad. We got the nacho cheese sauce for a recipe and yuck, not good.

What a week for my kids first week of summer camp which was themed "Splash into the Summer" with pools or water play every day. At least they had today.

I’m still thinking about the bro at the wolves game who got caught on live tv hitting a bump. I wonder how his day went today. My guess is he’s reading up on snuff

Fun to hear Jim Pete and Grady call this series. And Jim Pete has been highly critical of Rudy tonight.

I just can’t believe that Minnesotans need more opportunities to practice tornado safety. Seems like a boy who cried wolf old situation

When did Wirecutter become so lazy in their recommendations? It seems like half of their recs now are just "here is what our bloggers liked recently" as opposed to their more rigorous user testing approach.

One thing I find myself unexpectedly missing from BlueSky is the lack of an algorithm-based feed. I want to see what's viral! I want to be recommended new people to follow based on my likes and connections. There's a way to do this that isn't terrible. Right now, it feels like an echo chamber here

Bought a used Volvo today. I find the attempt to represent Swedish culture filtered through the lens of US used car dealerships humorous.
