I've been on this tour and it's so good! Fells Point will be festively decorated so that will be extra pretty.

This is SUCH a good list!! Sooo many of our favorite places and organizations along our tour routes and in our usual stomping grounds 🧡
We’ve compiled a list that includes important new books from local authors, suggestions on places to find products that will help you look and feel good, unique and interesting local clothing designers, and more. baltimorebeat.com/baltimore-be...

Very cool.

The Federal League Baltimore Terrapins had a famous Indigenous pitcher on their roster in 1915.

Charles Albert Bender, otherwise known as “Chief Bender” (!)

Tho’ better known as a member of the Philᵃ Athletics, I think it’s neat that he played in Baltimore. HOF Class of 1953, to boot.
Was looking through Helsley’s Insta follows and I’d completely forgotten that he’s indigenous!
He even speaks a good amount of Cherokee.

One extra good thing about our new tour is that it features/points out local small businesses along the tour route 💛🖤
It's #smallbusinesssaturday friends! Say no to faceless corporate crap and say yes to the shops in your community. As for me, I'm heading over to @moonpalacebooks.bsky.social to pick up my order and probably buy more stuff. Books are better when bought at independent bookstores!
