And thanks to mods and more action game experience, I got to enjoy the Werehog WAY more this time. Did you know he has dodge rolls, DMC-style lock on motion inputs and Izuna Drop finishers? I didn’t! Using mods to make moveset and medal grinding easier honestly fixes like 70% of this game’s problems

I appreciate that this game does a lot to address the pacing issues that the M&L series has *always* been plagued with, but with each one it solves, another two rear their heads which make the final act before the last boss *really* drag on
It does end strong - I’m so glad they’re making these again
