@mrjamesob.bsky.social The problem is many in the UK (esp politicians) suffer from the "1700km Duvet Syndrome": for Russia to "get to us", they'll have,l to come through Finland/Baltic States, Sweden/Poland etc, and then there's the North Sea - 1700km. So, let's snuggle down - it's all so far away

@mrjamesob.bsky.social The problem is many in the UK (esp politicians) suffer from the "1700km Duvet Syndrome": for Russia to "get to us", they'll have,l to come through Finland/Baltic States, Sweden/Poland etc, and then there's the North Sea - 1700km. So, let's snuggle down - it's all so far away
