I want to believe that there's someone out there for me, but just find it hard. My brain keeps telling me I'm too old for these kinds of feelings and to stop being childish (I'm 40 years old for God's sake). I thought I was over this, which makes this so frustrating.

They want a successful Instagram baddie, and I'm neither successful nor a baddie. Just a basic bitch still around for SOME reason. I couldn't feel any more like a loser. I skipped out high school reunions because I couldn't walk into the reunion to say I've only accomplished raising a child.

Ironically, I don't feel like I raised him as a single mother cause wasn't I supposed to raise him on my own? I was only able to raise him due to help from family. I've come to peace with dying alone at home. Doesn't make it easier though. Why am I not enough? I don't have any qualities guys want.
