But then again, knowing Sanderson, a chunk of what I think I know is about to be turned on its head with the new book. I love the way he gets us to meet people and form opinions about them, and then gives us a whole other side of the story that changes everything.

Definitely! I'm about halfway through WoK and recognizing themes and concepts and quotes that didn't click the first time through, but that have so much more meaning now that I know more.
