Brushed Kalypso so much over the last few days bc I need the vet to know she's well cared for, spoiled even, and not a gremlin who won't let me get the fur clumps off her butt and now there's so much free floating cat hair all around and on me.

When we got Buddy we were told his old owner took him everywhere, letting him ride shotgun in the car.
Anyway, here's a short list of things Buddy is startled by:
- laughter
- any unexpected noise
- most expected noises
- this pile of blankets he didn't expect to see when he jumped on the table

With Buddy there's a fine line between "yeah okay you can touch my toes or rub my belly or give me scritches" and CHOMP, and I manage to cross it every single time.

My little old lady baby turns 18 today 🥹 Did I cry looking at pictures of her with her now gone sister? Yes. But I'm also really happy I get to keep spending time with this ornery old girl.
