Well for starters, this can't be an official statement. There is no "Department of War." Its official title remains the Department of Defense. But of course Hegseth is such a dimwitted infused with alcohol suck-up Renfield that he does stuff like this to please his master.

Hegseth is not only reckless but stupid to even think about pulling a stunt like this, but completely deranged to actually initiate it. Hegseth in effect has again signed his own warrant for arrest & certified his conviction. Hegseth should spent the rest of miserable life in prison.

Schnitt was stating an opinion based on his observations as a DoJ attorney, not providing confidential or classified information. Thus what Bondi did (at the behest of Trump) was flagrantly illegal as well as unjust. And opening up a huge can of worms for the DoJ. Schnitt has a case.

Plus the 1st Amendment prohibits the establishment of an official religion & the Free Exercise Clause protects the right to practice freely one's religion. So these Christian Nationalists run squarely into a wall of legal protections that should undermine their nefarious plans.
