What we're seeing with Republicans turning on Trump is in no way a repudiation of Trumpism and the Republican white nationalist project, but instead the effect of these people realizing the regime failed to consolidate power as promised and Trump is physically deteriorating in public view.

One trans woman has competed at the Olympic level, I believe, in the 2+ decades trans women could have. She didn’t win any medals. The association the media want you to make here is that trans women are dominating women’s sports while also continuing a toxic narrative about women’s appearances

The issue could have relevance for Halligan’s appointment, since Bondi’s recent order claims to retroactively appoint Halligan as a DOJ prosecution under several alternative statutes if her interim U.S. attorney appointment is deemed invalid.

It is sort of incredible that the mob tried to kill Sliwa twice. I can’t imagine him mattering at all to any actual serious organized crime. Evidently it was over an insult on a radio show. I guess the Hollywood version of them as sophisticated businessmen is deceiving. Just violent dumb goons.
