I didn't go to a Catholic Seminary. As to the argument, I stick to my view that modern Jews are not like 1st Century Pharisees, although I admit to much good Pharisaical teaching in that of Jesus and St Paul of course.

I have studied Jewish history. Like most humans, they are mainly kind and loving and not judgemental or vengeful.

The Pharisees are not the ancestors of modern Jews. They condemned anyone who disagreed with them. Most Jews are kind tolerant people like that Jewish man called Jesus.
