I wanted it to look like the original Sleeping Beauty theatrical posters, but as usual, I think I got a little too detailed. Also, I am super serious about the eyes. It did not look good until I added them. Crazy, huh?

I AGONIZED over this piece ;0; I decided to boldly step out a try a style I had never done before! It was scary! But man, did I love how it turned out ;v; It was a lot of fun to shade once I kind of knew what I was doing! There’s a few things I would’ve done differently, but for what it is, I’m happy with it!

Real talk: I had no idea who Julius was until I learned about Felix the Cat ;w; Also, does he really even count as his own character is he really WAS just a ripoff? Poor gatito ;0; Who knows...? I had a lot of fun coloring this one! So her ‘gimmick’ would be that she can verbally tell stories, but she has trouble reading or writing them. Her segments would include trying to spell a word, but the letters being jumbled (we’re dyslexic :’) ). So Wally and the audience would have to help her unscramble them.

She’s not the most original, I know, but she had to be pink, and I honestly think the triangle nose suited her best. She also doesn’t have much of a ‘role,’ she just hangs around with the crew telling stories. I often imagined her to be the one narrating the story book segments.

Wisp and Bella are twins! These sisters are both very chill, go-with-the-flow kind of ladies. Wisp gets her name from Wisp the Cat from TikTok, and Bella is named after a cat in my neighborhood, who's named after Grizabella, from Cats the Musical. Percy is my baby! ;w; I lub them! I meant to make them look nervous and timid, but accidentally gave them anxiety. They are very easily frightened, however. Tucker is also my baby! ;0; I lub him!! My Drama King! He loves theatre and musicals, especially. Rum Tum Tugger from Cats the musical is his idol, which is why he sometimes likes to be called "Rum Tum Tucker"
