Mer de Glace yesterday from a little above Gare du Montenvers. The glacier lost about 200m of depth at this location because of climate change, and around 150m since 1990 only.

Fog in the Swiss Alps. On the coldest winter days, the summits shine in sunlight while thick fog blankets the valleys.

I think that #London #foxes want to domesticate themselves. This little guy has been visiting my garden, sometimes napping in it, for months. And I have never seen any poop. He is very considerate.

Monte Viso (3,842m), one of Italy’s Alpine giants, as seen from the Queyras (France). At its base lies the source of the River Po, the lifeblood of Northern Italy. This region is a cross-border UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. 🏔️✨ #Alps #Photography #Landscape #LandscapePhotography #Mountain #UNESCO

Rue des Degrés in #Paris. Shortest street in Paris (5.75m x 3.3m). Located in Bonne-Nouvelle, it is just outside where used to stand the wall of Charles V, finished in 1383. The stairs climb a little slope said to be made of rubbish parisians used to throw over the wall. #photography #blackandwhite

I live with cute monsters.
Zoropsis spinimana in my living room.
First detected in the UK in 2007. Since then it has been often observed around London, always inside building. Originally a Mediterranean species, it expanded towards the North over the pas few decades, maybe due to climate change.
