Preordered plants over a month ago to be picked up today. 😁 This is what I got - 6 Jack-in-the-pulpits, 6 wood lilies, 3 Michigan lilies..... In theory. It feels like really I bought a bunch of dirt. 😅 (Confirmed bulbs in the dirt though.) Dormant natives feel like a joke.
Fifteen 3-inch plant pots with tags in them in 5 rows of 3. Only 3 of the pots have visible plants; the other 12 look like empty dirt.

Had to make the difficult decision to put our sweet greyhound Faye to sleep tonight. Absolutely wrecked. I already really miss our derpy greyhound. 😭

Mono Lake, California - a VERY cool place! They have brine shrimp here, an animal found nowhere else in the world. I got a Christmas tree ornament of them (www.monolake.org/product/brin...) and so I remember this trip every year at this time when I trim my tree!🎄

My one iris back in October - it has so many more blossoms then than it did in the spring, when it had *2*. It was so disappointing!
