Needless to say, the blame for the Hokies struggling isn’t just game management. The offense played each game with a hand tied behind their back because of the horrid offensive line play

Lots of debate about coaching changes. Room for growth on O but continuity can’t justify the lack of talent upgrade and the lack of development on OL. D needs a change at LB and S/ play caller with better situational awareness and who understands how to put talent in the best position for success

Hot take, as good as APR was, Aneas Peebles will be the Hokie VT will miss the most. Peebles and Tuten are in a rock fight for best VT player since Christian Darrisaw. Peebles was beating doubles all season and that gave APR a lot of latitude.

APR is the case study on why explosive undersized edge rushers should never ever sign with a base 3-4 team out of high school.

A lot to assess with Watson as a passer. He didn’t need to get to the second progression and when he threw receivers were wide open. But he made good decisions and his feet made a Tyrod-like difference behind a porous offensive line.
