In case you happen to know him this cat was of course the amazing Filibert Cat. After almost 10 years I'm still grateful every day that he is with us ❤️😺

At first we were kinda concerned about the amount of kibble he ate, but he was perfectly fine, so all that remained from this little adventure was a very satisfied cat and the fun fact that cats seem to be able to burp (who knew!) 6/6

Turns out, I had programmed the pet feeder to dispense 12 *units* of food evert 4 hours rather than 12 grams, where a unit amounts to 4 gram in the pet feeder's world. We just did not realize our mistake since our very happy cat gobbled up the surplus kibble faster than the bowl could overflow. 5/6

In that moment, the best of all cat boys jumps next to me onto the counter and releases the most thunderous and magnificent burp you could imagine. Reader, I've had cats since I've been 9 years old, but never before and never after have I heard a cat burp. It sounded like a thunderstorm in June. 4/6

I put the pet feeder onto the counter to inspect it more closely. To my surprise I notice that the food tank, which is supposed to store a weeks worth of cat food is less than half full. "How is that possible ?" I ask my GF. "I filled it to the brim yesterday." 3/6

The next day, as we return home from work, we check how our furry friend is getting along with his new robotic butler. Dissappointingly, the small bowl of the food dispenser is full to the brim. What's wrong with the machine? Why doesn't he want to eat from it. We are puzzled. 2/6
