Not much of a Snow White update. I've been slowly chipping away at her embroidery, but not much else.
As a result, there's no way this cosplay will be close enough to finished in time for me to move on Friday. There's way too much material to bring with me, so she'll be on pause for now.

I did finish my petticoat (picture taken before finished, oops), I had to redo my corset, but that is also done, and I'm slowly adding details to the front skirt panel.

Baby's first corset!!

After taking this picture, I remembered to put the bones around the grommets and finished installing the grommets... only to realize it's too big. Oops.
Luckily, I had multiple lining attempts that I could turn into a new corset instead of starting completely over. Progress? 😅

The flooding has finally cleared up, and I was able to rescue my supplies and tools from the basement. However, it's pretty messed up, and I won't be able to use the space, so we have to make due with the limited space upstairs.
But I have still made some progress!

Snow White progress will be halted for a bit.
We've been having some flooding issues, and as a result, my crafting space, supplies, and materials aren't accessible to me right now. I'm not sure when I'll be able to get back to working on her, but I'll make sure to update everyone when I can!

More Snow White WIP. Slowly, but surely, things are getting done. I probably won't be able to get any work done this week because our basement is flooded. Luckily, there's no serious damage to anything! But my sewing supplies will be out of reach for a bit.

The government talks all the time about wanting disabled people to work. Here I am working yet I can't get the medical care to keep working long term. Doctors won't fill out disability paperwork yet also won't give me the meds or treatments I need to keep working long term.

Some progress on Snow White!

I've been working on the collar while I wait for the boning for my hoopskirt to arrive. This means a lot of hand stitching, which is not my strong suit.

But we are taking our time and this will hopefully result in something nice 😅

So, corset update: I messed up, and the fashion layer is basically useless. Gonna redo that layer with a different fabric.

Gonna turn the pieces of twill into a plushie of some kind so it doesn't go to waste
