Israel hunted a 70 year old lady down with a gun drone and then hoovered above to make sure she bled out next to her dying son. They both join almost 1,000 Palestinians Israel has massacred or maimed in its genocide during the "ceasefire".

Hard to imagine a stronger venue for the defense of human rights than the Doha forum
Hillary Clinton doubled down at the Doha Forum on remarks she made last week at the Israel Hayom Summit, where she claimed young people who are pro-Palestinian have been propagandized & misinformed by social media. Moments ago, she said young people are getting an “incomplete” picture of the...

Today we cut the ribbon on the Fort Dupont Ice Arena in Ward 7. Yet another beautiful project delivered by DGS & DPR. Of course, we had to take the ice for a spin. Had a blast and so can you! Check out the programming schedule.

Since becoming a parent I have not, in fact, understood the parents who say “if you were a parent you’d understand” about vaccine hesitancy. Being in charge of this fragile little miracle has me saying things like “give her all the vaccines. Turn this baby into a pincushion” to doctors

I think it's bad that the Board of Elections can maliciously commit procedural errors in order to run out the clock on progressive reforms without facing any consequences.
NEWS: An attempt to reverse the D.C. Council's move over the summer that partially repealed Initiative 82 has hit a significant and potentially fatal hurdle. A D.C. judge has ruled the D.C. Board of Elections improperly advanced a proposed referendum on the council's action.

I guess the thing I detest about Bill Kristol's new schtick "upholding the time-honored principles of the Democratic Party" is that his movement, the conservative media grifter movement, executed a decades-long project to drag the Democratic Party *away* from those principles.
I’m kind of new to the Democrats, but I thought we were FOR respecting the legal process, and also that we were AGAINST political corruption. And that it was especially important to hold to these principles at this time.

But I guess there’s some insider memo I didn’t get that would set me straight?

The misclassification of workers is wage theft. It's stealing from workers and the families and communities they support with their hard-earned money.

No employer should ever underpay their workers—especially not when that work is funded through generous public subsidies.
WORKER WIN: A construction company will pay $725,000 in restitution and penalties over wage theft.

Christian Siding illegally misclassified more than 200 workers at 16 projects and failed to pay prevailing wages at 3 DC-funded affordable housing projects.

In DC, what you earn is what you are owed.

Jeffries: "The border is secure. That's a good thing. It happened on his watch. He wants to claim credit for it, of course he'll get credit for that. In terms of making sure that we actually deal with the issues that matter, including on immigration, there's a lot that's left to be desired."
