Turkish society has indeed tremendous tolerance for autocratic regimes. But if you manage to make them go rebellious, that’s when you should know you’ve crossed the line too far.

But, the 11th century also marks the beginning of Latin translations from Muslim scientists, which gradually opened the European minds for other translations in humanities literature from Muslim scholars, ultimately leading to the Enlightenment era.
