Circular disk edge, nail & pencil. Another nail allows it to be used as a compass. Wooden rod machined on the wood lathe. Protective covers = flex TPU. Pencil holder & sleeve = PETG.

For #FreeCAD Friday this week I learned the workflow of starting with a photograph and tracing outlines in a sketch and came up with this cozy coffee filter holder. #3DPrinting

size 2 conical paper coffee filters in a housing that exactly matches their shape. They are on a black soapstone counter with a kettle to the left.

Some simple leaning spice jar shelves to organize the spice drawer. My drawers have rounded bottoms so had to do some cutouts on the end pieces. Not exactly an advanced design but FreeCAD came in clutch as always. Tailored to fit my square spice jar set, of course.

More fixes this week in #FreeCAD
We plan on creating a 1.1 release branch next week with a first Release Candidate version.
There are still around 15 blocker issues which need to be fixed before the stable release.
