Celebrating by sharing pictures of my favorite park, Mt Rainier, with views from three different sides: Paradise (Skyline trail), Sunrise (Burroughs Mountain trail, at the 3rd Burroughs), and Tolmie Peak Fire Lookout trail.

From the Tolmie Peak Fire lookout, a breathtaking view of Mount Rainier towering above endless layers of forested ridges, with sunlight illuminating a jewel-toned alpine lake nestled among evergreens in the foreground. This is PERSONAL as our treasured public lands in WA are on the chopping block. Sharing some beauty that will be lost to greed in the WA Pass area of the North Cascades. My favorite hike is to see the golden glory of the larches in the fall. #hiking #PNW
