Best part of being a game dev is seeing how a game comes to live. It’s not necessarily a linear process but when all the different pieces are in place and playing it is fun - that hits different. 😌

Life is currently simple and quiet, I like that. The holiday break was great to recharge and do something else but Battlefield is calling again (well…on Tuesday😄).
2025 will have its challenges but with hard work and a bit of luck we should be fine. So let‘s go!🔥

Yesterday evening was perfect: I was watching the old Justice League series on Bluray while eating snacks and drinking soft drinks. And that‘s it. Went to bed at around 11.

Working on games feels still surreal sometimes. Systems that I design and work on every day are one day used by millions of players. And while they get my full focus for longer periods of time (some even for years) it‘s only a small part in the big scheme. Crazy.

- 100% the additional Astro Bot content
- Played a bit of HL2 with commentaries
While I continue the last one I need to pick a new PS game. But which?

In april me and a friend decided to put our podcast on hold because the time spent wasn‘t feasible anymore and the creative urge was gone.
Two weeks ago I got an idea of how it could work and we decided to try it. And suddenly the creativity returned and I have 1000s of ideas. Life is a mystery. 😄

Hold today a Pecha Kucha presentation to introduce myself and it was a great experience. 🙌
Pecha Kucha is a format where you have only 20 slides and 20 seconds per slide. Slides should have ideally no text, only pictures.
It makes you rethink your approach. Wrote even a detailed script. Very cool!
