Sometimes I forget how fast our internet is until I have to find alternative sources for a show from someone with even faster internet.

If I ever have to host a party again, I'll hire some local community theatre actors to fill out the ranks of guests. I'll give them each a few sentences of implausible backstory. "Oh, we met in Formula 1 racing school in the 90s and discovered we both enjoy celery, just not raw."

Maybe you should invite a few friends over to help you write. You could have a few drinks, play games, watch a movie, or even dance for inspiration. I think the French call it a soirée.
