This is what Brooks is like. There’s a ton of support here for this move. Getting the needed signatures to actually recall Smith would be a difficult, uphill battle.

I’m absolutely floored that the UCP voted in Bill 2. Part of me wants to mobilize and start a recall petition for DS. Yes I’m in her riding. I also know that her supporters here are a loud and sometimes destructive bunch. I’ll admit it. They scare me.

In an effort to get my steadily climbing A1C numbers down I have embarked on a half-hearted diet that involves me giving up most carbs -my favourite things- which in turn has sapped my will to live. I hate diets and dieting. I totally did this to myself though and now I must suffer. Sort of.

I find myself looking at X more and more. This site is just so American, and while it does affect us in Canada, it’s not the daily commentary I want. I signed up for Gander but then the “we need money” emails started. I might start using x again. At least there I’m not drowning in Trump news.

So we ARE in the time space for recalls. However I just don’t have the energy to take this on. If there is anyone else in Danielle Smiths riding who wants to I’ll help out as much as I am able.

Canada Post is delivering again. One of my parcels that got stuck is tracking as “check back for updates”. This is the same notice I got after Christmas after they “lost” a Michael Kors purse I had ordered for my daughter’s Christmas present. I never received the purse or an explanation.

To fully appreciate how people can live in an absolute information free bubble, know that there were parents in Alberta who sent their kids to school today; some blissfully ignorant, some because of language barriers.
Also know the striking teachers sorted it out for parents.
