I write about TV. Words at many places including The Daily Beast, Elle, Marie Claire, IGN, The Playlist, Backstage Magazine, and more. Talking about costumes, fashion and Felicity’s hair.
Got to love the BAFTA Scotland Awards red carpet. A doozy! (Especially in love with Izuka Hoyle's look)

Nothing like getting that first email reminder about filing your taxes return.

Doing these interviews and then seeing the costumes and prosthetics up close at the exhibition in London was very cool (I wish it happened more often)

My most on brand moment when I went to watch the rugby at Twickenham last weekend was getting a big kick out of seeing the advertisement boards flipping to Rhea Seehorn’s face.

Happy Pluribus Day! Getting to spend this much time with Rhea Seehorn playing a character like this is such a gift (thank you, Vince Gilligan!).

Betty Gilpin doesn't get a ton to do, but my word, what she does with the scenes she has is extraordinary. Her chemistry with Michael Shannon sells the hell out of their marriage, and I would gladly watch another miniseries based on Crete getting the first-ever presidential library built.

I also would happily write an essay on the different styles of suits and hats and how they build character (impeccable costumes designed by Michael Wilkinson).

No one is having more fun in Death by Lightning than Shea Whigham (a show I thought was pretty great and could easily watch 6 more episodes of).

Extremely into this whole Rhea Seehorn look.

Very much in my feelings about the Pluribus premiere doubling as a BCS reunion.

The Lowdown finale (and whole season) was excellent, and of course, I want to shout out costume designer Alyssa Blair Cawthorn for rounding off the season with these excellent looks (obsessed with Lee's black jacket details).

Also, because I am procrastinating with a Getty scroll (can you tell), I must also include this Paul Sparks/Michael Shannon pic from a recent Frankenstein event.

Endlessly delighted by this combo of people from the Death by Lightning premiere
November 4, 2025 at 9:57 AM
Paul Sparks isn't even in Death by Lightning, but the combination of him at a premiere of a show starring Shea Whigham and Michael Shannon is making me wonder if I should rewatch Boardwalk Empire

The teaser for S6 makes me mad we have to wait a whole year for these more polished looks (and Jack Lowden with a beard) and what I expect is gonna be an excellent use of a service station.

It’s the Slow Horses S5 finale, which means I can now talk about one of my fave visuals this season thanks to the A+ costume design by Guy Speranza.

The first episode in the RHOSLC x Below Deck: Down Under somehow surpassed my high expectations. The joy of watching these worlds collide summed up by this dinner. Renaissance art levels.

That time of year where there’s only a 4/7 hour time difference between the UK and US and therefore I get all my press releases an hour earlier. It happens twice a year and I’m still surprised every single time

Screaming with delight at seeing Laura Innes in the Strictly audience supporting Alex Kingston ER 4EVA

I would join this cult

It: Welcome to Derry means I am once again thinking about this

Still thinking about eveything Emilia Jones throughout Task but particularly the finale. What a dynamite performance that I hope we will still be talking about come the Emmys

Happy The Diplomat S3 Day! This season shakes things up in ways that I was not expecting, but thoroughly enjoyed. Keep an eye out for a couple of pieces from me on later episodes, coming soon. For now, enjoy this delightful image.
