#AllForCITY and better transport with better cars, trains, and planes. Multimodal for all. Rural urbanism and better options for transport. Soccer and occasional IndyCar posts.
@lukemiani.bsky.social Uh, what happened with your latest video? I was commenting on in and it went private.

Maybe David was right?
As this vote moves to the House, I stand with Democratic leadership as they refuse to rubber stamp the full-scale Republican assault on Americans’ health care and I am proud of the majority of Senate Democrats who opposed this vote.

Nights like tonight make me disillusioned from the political process, that’s a big reason why I don’t say much about it anymore.

Even if we say “not all Dems” where does that leave the caving eight? Not in a good place.

If you want good news, it’s that memories are short.
People with the urge to respond “but that’s not true!” are 1) obviously wrong, 2) missing the point in either case
Wish people with any kind of audience would please focus on this shitshow still actually being Republican’s fault entirely

I always suspected Durbin was a blue dog conservative Democrat at heart who only moved left because of Chicago. This proves that theory true beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Senator Schumer is no longer effective and should be replaced. If you can’t lead the fight to stop healthcare premiums from skyrocketing for Americans, what will you fight for?

@davidhogg.bsky.social has his eight to primary. Good luck!

If there’s something that gives me some hope, it’s that most Democrats can see this bill is bad compromise that doesn’t advance any of their strategic goals.

Is there a Mississippi State On3 or Rivals that can hire Will Bratton so he doesn’t cover #AllForCITY anymore? Asking for a friend.
November 1, 2025 at 4:30 PM
This is a good hire #allforcity certainly not a rushed one.
October 31, 2025 at 8:37 PM
The guy telling some of us that we want #allforcity to “rush” to hire a SD is the same guy who is rushing to post stupid AI slop.

Prime might need to shake up his staff, time for him to fire Shurmur and bring in Billy Napier.

it’s not a purity test to say you won’t vote for someone with an explicitly Nazi tattoo.

anyone saying it’s a purity test is acting in bad faith or they themselves are fascist

My guess without watching: the Northeast Corridor still sucks.
Amtrak's next gen Acela brings increased Capacity, Higher Speeds, and Updated Interiors; but there's one trend that is haunting the North American Rail industry and unless it's reversed we're all in for a worse ride. I talk about it in today's video:

It is worth remembering that the Trump admin is way out over its skis here.

To consolidate power, they need a solid administrative state.

They gutted the administrative state before meaningfully attempting that consolidation.

Now, they are flailing and facing dissent they can't contain.
Miller complaining about protestors-- "respectable" old white ones, no less!-- is a strong sign that

1) they are scared of protest;

2) protests are happening; and

3) they are having an impact, even if the media refuses to cover them.
