Lots of feelings, kink, & mafia shenanigans abound. Check the triggers if you want to read, as there are quite a few, but otherwise give it a try when it comes out on KU on Feb 26th! #mmromance

You’ve got Tadgh, a member of the Irish Mafia who wants out, with relatable mental health issues that are dealt with in a sensitive & realistic way by the author. You’ve also got Micah, who got out but never forgot Tadgh— & after years apart, had to save Tadgh’s life.

The series is paranormal, with a variety of different species (hellhound, sirens, incubi, vampires, etc) and soulmates. Lots of apt social commentary, sweet romance, and some sexy stuff (but not a ton, which I liked). Found family, hurt/comfort, & people learning to love themselves & others.

I also finished the second in the same series, Priest. This one was a little too fast-paced for me, romance-wise, but again, the world building kept it interesting. Another ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, & I can’t wait for the 3rd one!

Sunshine by EM Lindsey and KiKi Clark was a solid ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me. I went in thinking it was a quick, paranormal love story but the world building and social commentary was well done & interesting. I’ve never found a book EM Lindsey had a hand in that I didn’t love, and this is no exception.
