Hot fluid is apparently a complete no-go initially bc it can affect the healing 😞 and it’s a wisdom tooth so I guess a straw wouldn’t really help avoid it 😭

Mum broke that news to me personally as a matter of importance, she understood the seriousness 😂 “I’ll go over all the recovery stuff with you after you’ve seen the dentist but you should know now that you won’t be able to drink hot drinks INCLUDING TEA”

Actually no the most upsetting part is the price of private dentistry but a close second is the fact I won’t get to drink tea for two whole days

Saddest part is knowing I won’t be able to drink tea for 2 whole days after. Genuinely distressing

I can tell she’s devastated that she’s gonna miss the whole thing. Even tried to say I could probably leave it til Christmas so she can have a look and get booked in with an ex colleague since it’s not hurting me. Had to remind that it’s surely best to yoink the remaining bits before infection 😂

Well. Largely what came out was the absolute rock solid filling mum did on the sofa mid-pandemic. But it turns out that was p much the majority of what was left of the “tooth”. Emergency removal it is ✌️🙂✌️
